Group Brand Manager



Church & Dwight’s International Marketing team conducts business in over 130 countries and represents the fastest growing business unit within Church & Dwight.  The Group Brand Manager, International Marketing is a central part of this team and is responsible for shaping and driving alignment on global brand strategies, accelerating global new product launch efforts and for serving as the steward of global brand equity on selected brands.  She or he will accomplish these objectives through close partnership with Church & Dwight subsidiary and U.S. domestic marketing and will be responsible for contributing to a culture of collaboration across the company.


Key brands that will fall under this Group Brand Manager’s responsibility include iconic Church & Dwight equities such as Arm & Hammer, OxiClean and Orajel along with other emerging brands that are taking on an increased global presence. In addition, this person will have responsibility for a Senior Associate Brand Manager as well as a Marketing Specialist to assist them.  


Key responsibilities include Strategy / Pipeline / Equity oversight:

  • Lead the global development of brand strategies (aligned with subsidiary and domestic input) that include brand growth plans as well as competitive defense plans.
  • Evaluate white space and M&A opportunities.
  • Drive New Product pipeline alignment, adoption and ensure global launch success.
  • Serve as global Brand Equity steward. Develop global brand footprints, review / approve creative briefs and review / approve brand copy (advertising & packaging).
  • Share global and subsidiary communication learnings, success stories, best practices and test results with all markets.
  • Monitor and ensure action against competitive activity and meaningful global trends.
  • Global P&L oversight and analysis.


Education / Experience / Requirements:

  • College graduate required. MBA preferred.
  • 8-10 years of marketing experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of CPG / FMCG industry, products and categories required.
  • Specific experience working in / with international markets strongly preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have excellent English oral and written communications skills.  Additional language proficiency (French, Spanish, Mandarin) preferred, but not required.
  • The job will be based at Church & Dwight corporate headquarters in Ewing, New Jersey. Requires occasional (~10%) international travel.
