  • Overview

    Church & Dwight is currently seeking an IT Innovation Co-op for our 2019 Co-op program. Co-ops work an 8-month assignment, rotating between 3 projects, beginning in January and ending in August 2019. This paid position is located in our Ewing, NJ headquarters.

     

    Title: IT Innovation Co-op / Location: Ewing, NJ / Duration: 8 month Co-op (January through August 2019)

     

    Department Overview:

     

    IT Digital Marketing:

    The candidate will work under the Marketing Technology and Innovation Team within the IT department. This team is responsible for driving the strategic relationship with Marketing. They serve as a liaison between IT and Marketing to ensure there is alignment between IT strategy and the key business drivers.

     

    Responsibilities:
    • Support IT Director in marketing-related project activities
    • Work with team members to develop & understand digital marketing strategies
    • Analyze data and create reports on different platforms
    • Collaborate with team members for ideation and bringing in industry best practices
    • Assist in marketing technology research and vendor engagement

     

    Qualifications:

    • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business/Marketing related field
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel strongly preferred)
    • Able to manage multiple timelines and priorities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn and contribute to a growing company


    Analytics and Data Science:
    The candidate will work under the Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE) Team within the IT department. This team turns data into actionable insights using analytics technologies powered by Microsoft Azure Cloud. Candidates will use multiple platforms including Microsoft Power BI, SQL, R, and Python to drive valuable insights for the organization. The candidate will be involved in multiple global projects focused on data ingestion, computation, transformation, and visualization.


    Responsibilities:

    • Support ACE Team Lead in related analytics/data science project activities
    • Work with team members to develop & understand digital marketing strategies
    • Analyze data and create reports on different platforms
    • Collaborate with team members for ideation and bringing in industry best practices
    • Assist in marketing technology research and vendor engagement


    Qualifications:
    • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or another related field
    • Knowledge/Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: Power BI, R, Python, SQL, or related tools
    • Able to manage multiple timelines and priorities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn and contribute to a growing company


    DevOps/Development:
    The candidate will work under the Direct to Consumer and E-commerce Team within the IT department. This team is responsible for multiple global initiatives focused on automation, transformation, and challenging the status quo to drive incremental revenue for Church & Dwight.


    Responsibilities:
    • Support IT Director focused on driving incremental e-commerce revenue by leveraging analytics and cloud technologies
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business ideas into actionable insights
    • Analyze technologies to optimize and automate current manual processes
    • Deliver innovative solutions to complex problems


    Qualifications:
    • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or another related field
    • Quantitative mindset, with a desire to work in a digital data-focused environment
    • Knowledgeable in DevOps concepts, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, or other programmatic languages
    • Exposure to client/server application structured development, agile development methodologies, version control concepts, and unit testing theory
    • Able to manage multiple timelines and priorities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn, and contribute to a growing company
